1. That the Faculty Senate adopt the proposed schedule of meetings for the 2016-2017 academic year:

2. That the Faculty Senate authorize the Faculty Senate Executive Committee to act on behalf of the Senate between May 5 and September 22, 2016 regarding the approval of courses and or undergraduate curriculum changes pertaining to the implementation of the General Education Program.

3. That the Faculty Senate approve the proposed changes to University Manual Chapter 8, Sections 8.27.10, 8.27.16, 8.27.17 (editorial), 8.51.11, 8.51.14, 8.51.15, 8.51.16, 8.51.17 (editorial), 8.51.21, 8.51.26, 8.51.27, 8.53.20 and 8.54.10; and the creation of new Sections 8.27.22 and 8.50.30.

(Per By-Laws 12.1, These By-Laws may be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the senators present and eligible to vote at a regular Senate meeting, but a proposed amendment to the By-Laws may not be voted upon at the meeting at which it is first moved.)
