Faculty-Led Programs
Evaluate
The evaluation is an important part of the program process. It allows students to express their opinions about their experience and helps to influence improvements for future programs. The Office of International Education sends an electronic survey to students at the conclusion of the program. Faculty and staff are also welcome to have student complete paper-based evaluations prior to the departure from the program, as this yields a greater number of respondents. Program directors are also asked to complete a self-evaluation form to document their experience coordinating the program.
Follow-up meeting
Upon your return, you will meet with the Office of International Education to debrief your experience and reconcile outstanding finances. The URI Accounting Office requires that expense vouchers and program advances are submitted no later than 10 business days after the traveler’s return to Rhode Island.
Grades
Grade submissions for winter programs are due the first week of February. Grade submissions for summer faculty-led programs follow the same calendar as the URI summer sessions. Grades not submitted on time will register an NR and require a change of grade form.
