Post-Priority Application

If you missed the 2026–2027 Housing Application priority deadline, you may still apply for housing using the online Returning Student Post-Priority Housing application, available starting on February 19, 2026 at 9 a.m. ET.

Once you submit a Returning Student Post-Priority Housing application, you will be added to the Post-Priority Waitlist on a first-submitted, first-assigned basis. You will not be able to select preferred roommates, join roommate groups, or self-select a housing assignment.

Additionally, you are not guaranteed to receive a housing assignment, so we encourage you to consider other housing options. We recommend using the URI Commuter Affairs website as a housing resource or inquiring with the TI/IEP House and Greek Chapter houses regarding housing availability.

We are unable to provide a timeline for when housing will become available to those on the waitlist. Housing offers are made on a rolling basis after Room Selection ends and after those on the Priority Waitlist are offered housing.
