Rhode Island National Guard

The Rhode Island General Assembly has enacted legislation granting limited tuition waivers to members of the Rhode Island National Guard. For further information, please contact your National Guard Education Liaison and visit the STAP Waiver page.

The M28, Appendix AM: Training Time Equivalency-Semester Hours, below, is a table that shows the credits to weeks in order for a veteran to qualify for full monthly housing allowance. To qualify for full-time status and the prorated monthly housing allowance for the J-term session. Students should take more than 2 credit hours during the J-term session.
