Collection Management

The University Libraries allocates its budget into separate fund accounts for each discipline to finance the purchase of books, serials, and other media. Departments are encouraged to participate in the selection of materials.

Subject Selectors

The Libraries’ subject selectors are responsible for selecting books and other materials to be purchased. Subject selectors also act as liaisons to the various departments on campus.

Library Impact Statements

The Curricular Affairs Committee and Graduate Council require a Library Impact Statement when new courses, programs, majors or degrees are proposed.
