Digital Photography II- 3 Sessions on Zoom starting Monday, July 22, with Eli Vega. Click to register.  Get an overview of the key components of Beginning Digital Photography, including camera dials and features and exposure. You will learn about basic photo editing and recommended photo editing software. And you will also receive constructive feedback on your photos during the last session. 

Eli Vega is an award-winning photographer and author. He has taught photography since 1993. Among the venues he has taught are Rocky Mountain National Park, Garden of the Gods (Colorado Springs, Colorado), OLLI in several cities and states, various colleges in Arkansas, Colorado, and Texas, and various art groups and camera clubs.

Find out with the first two books in the South County Mystery Series, Last Train to Kingston and Last Rose on the Vine, and be prepared to view familiar local scenes with new eyesDiscussions with the author are centered around choice of setting, plot structure, development of main and minor characters, targeting an audience, point of view, and writing techniques.

Claremary Sweeney is an author and photographer from South Kingstown. She retired from the field of education and now uses her imagination to create stories that can be enjoyed by children and the young at heart. Her South County Mystery Series introduces readers to South Kingstown Detective Kara Langley and her friends. Her children’s stories include A Berkshire Tale, a series about a kitten named ZuZu, born at Tanglewood, and Carnivore Conundrum, a tale about a little pitcher plant, set in the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center. For the OLLI at URI, she presented her first two books in the South County Mysteries Series in What in the World Can Be Cozy About Murder?
