ARTS & CULTURE PROGRAM – URI College of Arts and Science Art and Art History Department & The Rhode Island Alliance for Arts In Education present The 19th Annual Richard W. and Ronald S. Buteau Memorial- PS2025 and Gift of Art to the State of Rhode Island Exhibit May 5-29, 2025
Gallery Night Reception – May 15th at 5-8pm, with a special recognition ceremony at 6:30pm.
The mixed media exhibit features more than 250 artworks by K-12 students from public and charter schools throughout the state, and the honored selection of North Kingstown Public Schools for The Gift of Art to the State of Rhode Island 2025 – adding 9 new works to the permanent collection – due to the extraordinary work in the visual and performing arts in the North Kingstown Public Schools, and their efforts to integrate the arts into the curriculum across disciplines.
