SUMMER REGISTRATION continues! 

The following classes begin our first week of Summer semester and are in danger of cancellation. 

  • Right Brain Photography (Zoom)

  • Homescapes in Watercolor

  • Issues in Food Safety (Zoom)

  • Yoga: An Introductory Workshop

  • Earth Care Farm Tour

We require at least 10 registrations for a class to run. Our instructors spend a great deal of time preparing to teach and we want the experience to be worthwhile for both students and instructors. If you are interested in these classes, please register online today or call 401-874-4197.

TIME TO RENEW! All Special Interest Group registrations will expire this month and you MUST renew in order to continue receiving notifications of activities. Register online or call the office at 401-874-4197.

COME JOIN US AND REPRESENT OLLI IN THE SK 300TH ANNIVERSARY PARADE Join us on June 17, for a morning of fun (and it’s good exercise too!). Call the office at 401-874-4197 and let us know if you can join us. All the details on the meeting location will be shared the week of the parade.

OLLI TRAVEL– Join us on Tuesday, June 6, at 1:00PM and enjoy a virtual tour of our upcoming OLLI trips.  Feel free to bring along a friend.

SK 300TH ANNIVERSARY SPEAKERS SERIES– Thursday, June 8, 7:00PM at the South Kingstown High School. Free and open to the public. Jody Boucher, Regional Publisher, RI Suburban Newspapers, will be presenting “History for the Narragansett Times”

RHODY OUTPOST School’s out! OLLI is collecting snacks during June and July, and basic everyday items. Individually packaged snacks are most needed, but boxes are welcome:  

  • Granola bars

  • Crackers

  • Cookies

  • Nuts/seeds

  • Dried fruits.

Ongoing daily needs are for liquid hand soap, oil, and rice*. (*The pantry can divide up large bags of rice that cost less per pound.) For up-to-date information on collection items, please click here.

AGING IN PLACE The Jamestown Senior Center is so excited to have some wonderful resources present at their Aging in Place Fair on June 21, from 3:00PM- 6:00PM. Click here for more information.
