LET’S TALK TECHNOLOGY: EXPLORING A.I. (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE)

The Technology Committee invites you to join this month’s OLLI Extra, Let’s Talk Technology conversation on Exploring A.I. (Artificial Intelligence). Find out what all the talk is about. Get a peek at this fast-growing technology and how it affects our daily life. Join this discussion with members of our Technology Committee as they share their knowledge and how they utilize it. This is an introductory presentation. A more in-depth course titled A.I. Anxiety is being offered starting on Thursday, Oct.5.

CYBER SENIORS – Stop by for help with your devices…no appointment needed. Students will be in the lobby on the following days/times:

JOIN A PANEL DISCUSSION ON WORLD ALZHEIMER’S DAY: THE PERSPECTIVE FROM RHODE ISLAND

On World Alzheimer’s Day, Thursday, September 21, join Brown University’s Carney Institute for Brain Science and Butler’s Memory and Aging Program for an interactive panel discussion with leading scientists, researchers and advocates about the latest advances in Alzheimer’s Disease research and treatment, and how Rhode Island is playing a pivotal role in the battle against the disease. David Shenk, journalist and author of The Forgetting – “a literary portrait of Alzheimer’s disease perfectly balanced between sorrow and wonder, devastation and awe” – will facilitate this discussion.
