Fall 2024 Registrations Begins April 17, 2024.

Please note it takes up to two business days to process your deposit. You may review the URI Student Gateway Website which includes checklists and resources while your deposit clears you for registration.

Welcome to URI! Once you submit your enrollment deposit it is time to connect with your academic advisor to discuss course enrollment.  Follow these steps to ensure a smooth academic advising experience:

  1. Use the button on the right side of your screen or this link to find your academic advisor
  2. Visit the “Find Your Advisor” page to identify your academic advisor. You can then schedule an appointment with an advisor using Starfish and search for your advisor’s name or contact the advisor using the information provided on that page. Click here for Starfish tutorials. If you need any assistance with connecting with your advisor, please contact our front office support at 401.874.2993. We are happy to help in any way you need.

Prepare for Your Advisor Meeting

  1. Review your transfer credit status to see if you might be missing any credits. Have course descriptions available for courses currently in progress as these transfer credits will not be posted until final grades are received.
  2. Understand prerequisites to courses and special application processes, for example applying to the School of Education
  3. Review and audit your General Education credits
  4. Make a list of courses to enroll in for the upcoming semester (12 credits is full-time, but we recommend 15-17 credits for a timely graduation)
  5. All transfer students are strongly encouraged to enroll in URI101, “URI’s Transfer Student Success Seminar” This 1-credit course was developed to acclimate you to URI, learn URI lingo and policies, meet other students starting at URI during the spring semester, all with a strong focus on academic advising and planning. URI101 is required if you have fewer than 24 transfer credits. Registration is open for sections 158 (W2-2:50PM) and 160 (W12-12:50PM). Please email John Rooney, rooney@uri.edu if you need any assistance.

URI Summer Classes – Registration Open NOW!

If you are interested in taking a course during 2024 URI Summer Sessions, please complete a non-degree application form to get your e-Campus account activated for Summer 2024 course registration (you will need to complete the form from a web browser or device that you have not recently used to access e-Campus). Once your form is processed by URI Enrollment Services, you will receive an email from Mary Mullane with further instructions. Be sure to check your spam folder for this email notification. Please note that even though you would technically take 2024 Summer Sessions classes as a non-matriculating student, all credits and grades earned during the coming summer term will be automatically applied to your URI program of study upon your official matriculation in the spring. On the URI Summer website, you can find all coursestuition rates, and billing information. Follow-up questions or concerns may be directed to Mary Mullane at mary_mullane@uri.edu.
