Welcome to the University of Rhode Island Office of Student Learning, Outcomes Assessment, and Accreditation (SLOAA), a division of the Office for Advancement of Teaching and Learning. SLOAA’s mission is to promote student success and achievement through greater accountability for student learning, and support a cycle of outcomes assessment and continuous program improvement. Program assessment is a university-wide responsibility and commitment to curricular and student learning improvement. Data and results from outcomes assessment for all programs are examined in the aggregate only and are not used to evaluate individual faculty or students. If you have any questions or comments, please request a meeting or e-mail us.
