Aquatics

Join our Campus Recreation Aquatics Team! We hire for various roles, including lifeguards, hydro-fitness instructors, birthday party coordinators, swim lesson supervisors, lifeguard instructors, and administrative assistants. Responsibilities include leading fitness classes, organizing and overseeing parties, ensuring the smooth operation of swim programs, providing lifeguard training, and supporting the administration of aquatics programs. Fitness & Wellness

Join our fitness and wellness team to enhance the well-being of our members! While we hire experinced Group Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers to lead safe and effective fitness classes and prescribe workouts and support clients in achieving fitness goals, we also have an comprehensive Instructor/Trainer Development Program designed for URI students who do not yet have any work experience or certifications in the field. We also have Well-being staff who plan, promote, and present activities and events aimed at enhancing the well-being of students and members.

Intramural Sports

Join our student-focused Intramural Sports Program and play a key role in creating a community and overseeing and officiating a variety of sports, games, and activities. Responsibilities include enforcing rules, assessing penalties, checking participant eligibility, keeping score, and serving as a primary customer service representative. Attend required meetings and training, maintain First Aid and CPR certifications (we’ll help you get certified), and be ready to respond to injuries as a first responder and game manager.

Marketing

Join the Marketing Team at Campus Recreation! We’re seeking creative individuals to fill various roles as videographer, photographer, graphic designer, blog writer, and social media content creator. Edit photos and videos, and create unique content for our website, social media, and presentations. Must be familiar with Adobe Creative Suite, able to attend Campus Rec events, and create visually appealing images for both digital and print assets. Flexible and weekend hours available.

Sailing

Join our dynamic team at the University of Rhode Island’s Sailing Center as a Sailing Instructor or Steward! Located just 20 minutes from campus, our center is a hub for students and community members alike to learn and enjoy sailing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. As a Sailing Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in teaching students, managing programs, and fostering a love for sailing among participants of all ages.
