Jake earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Economics, Spanish and Medical Sciences.  He has graduate degrees in Higher Education Administration, Public Administration, and Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  Among other life adventures, he has studied biodiversity levels in Greater Tibet, played collegiate tennis, and worked with the Foreign Service in the Marshall Islands.  His hobbies include playing/teaching tennis, being involved in government at all levels, video gaming, reading nonfiction, weightlifting, and gardening with the statewide Master Gardener program.
