Office of Research Integrity
Ensures research conducted at URI is safe, ethical and compliant. There are three sub-committees that review research projects at the university:
- Institutional Review Board (IRB) — Reviews research projects that involve human subjects.
- Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) — Reviews research projects that involve animals.
- Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) — Reviews and approves biological research protocols.
- To submit your application to the research compliance committees, set up an account on IRBNet.
