Gandhi awards ceremony!

Congratulations to 15 Gandhi essay finalists, 6 essay winners, and 7 Compassion & Selfless Service Award recipients at the Center’s Gandhi Awards Ceremony held May 4 at the Rhode Island State House.

This year marks the 8th Annual Eighth Grade Gandhi Essay Contest with 76 essay submissions from 19 schools across Rhode Island. We are so proud of the students’ deep thinking and personal connections to Gandhi’s message of peace. And a big shout out to the amazing teachers and parents who support them.
