8th Grade Rhode Island "Gandhi Award for Compassion & Selfless Service"

The URI Center for Nonviolence & Peace Studies will present this prestigious award to selected 8th Grade Rhode Island students who exemplify the qualities of compassion and selfless service according to Gandhi's philosophy that the highest form of service is rooted in love and ahimsa, and "the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in service to others." Ideal candidates for the award would include students who give themselves unselfishly in service to others. An email will be sent to your given email address upon submission to confirm that the entry was accepted.
