Biography

Hello, I am Lieutenant Holly Boubouras, a Meteorology and Oceanography Officer in the Royal Australian Navy (RAN).
I joined the RAN as a Maritime Warfare Officer and graduated from our Australian Defence Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography and Geography. I studied at Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology to achieve my Graduate Diploma of Meteorology, and have completed various postings as an aviation forecaster, including to Casey Station, Antarctica for our 2023-2024 summer season in support of the Australian Antarctic Division.
