Steven Tadros (URI B.Sc. Marine Biology, 2016; URI GSO M.O., 2017) is currently the Manager of Public Affairs at Avangrid, a U.S. renewable energy developer. He specifically focuses on Avangrid’s offshore wind projects in New England, including Vineyard Wind 1, the nation’s first commercial-sized offshore wind farm.
He completed the non-thesis Master of Oceanography program with a focus in General Oceanography. While at GSO, he took on various roles, including NSF SURFO student liaison and plankton trawl technician, which helped him expand his network throughout the university.
