Join the New England PO community for presentations from students and postdocs, connecting with other researchers, and science discussions about a wide range of physical oceanography topics.

When: September 3rd, 9am – 6pm
Where: URI Graduate School of Oceanography, 215 S Ferry Rd Narragansett, RI 02882

Plan to arrive between 9am – 9:45am. There will be coffee and light pastries/ snacks. Meet at the far end of building 2 on the campus map.
The sessions will start promptly at 10am.
Lunch will be provided for everyone who registered. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options will be available. Lunch will be in building 8 (Mosby Center).
- From the caterer: “Please be aware that our kitchens and dining facilities are not ALLERGY-FREE as we do not have dedicated kitchen areas where exclusive production of allergen-free foods are prepared.”
We will have the poster session with snacks and a cash bar between 4:30-6pm. Posters will be in building 1 (OSEC).

Park in either of the two lots circled in green on the campus map. You do not need a parking pass to park
on our campus.

Amtrak: the closest station is Kingston, RI. ~20-minute uber from the station to campus.
MBTA (Boston commuter rail): the closest station is Wickford Junction on the Providence line. ~15-minute uber from the station to campus.

If you are choosing to stay overnight, we recommend staying at either the Hampton Inn or the Holiday Inn in South Kingstown.

There are no outside food options within walking distance of the campus. Plan accordingly!
Bring your own water bottle. There are many refill stations across campus.
Lunch will be held in a building that overlooks the water and has fans/open doors/windows for a breeze, but no AC. It could be hot! The other buildings we will be in the rest of the day have AC.
