Dive Deep into Biological Oceanography for Summer 2025!

Biological oceanography is the study of life in our oceans from the small but mighty plankton to the largest whales, biological oceanography is everywhere! We will dive deep into ecosystems and all that inhabits them.
From field programs to research sites around Narragansett Bay, to classroom time at URI’s Graduate School of Oceanography, campers will experience the wonders of our global ocean.
Although this camp will emphasize biological oceanography, campers will also investigate the interdisciplinary features of oceanography, including chemical, geological and physical.
Oceanography Explorers Camp will run from 9am to 3pm, with pick up and drop off occurring at the URI Graduate School of Oceanography (Narragansett, RI).

Cost: $495 (payment options are included in registration confirmation)
A 15% registration discount is available for campers of current URI faculty/staff/students. A 20% sibling discount is available.

Cancellation policy: Any cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the start of camp, or in the case of a no-show, NO REFUND. Any cancellations made within 45-15 days prior to the start of camp will result in a refund of 50%. Any cancellations made more than 45 days prior to the start of camp will result in 100% refund. The GSO reserves the right to cancel the camp due to unforeseen circumstances up to two weeks prior. In the case of cancellation made by URI GSO, 100% refunds will be given.
