The URI Music Resource Center is a small library of printed music and recordings with associated technology that serves the students and faculty of the Music Department at the University of Rhode Island. It is located in Room E105, Fine Arts Center at 105 Upper College Road, Kingston.

This website is a virtual catalog for the sheet music in the Resource Center’s vertical file cabinets. It is also a catalog for the Music Department’s ensemble library which is housed in a remote location above the Fine Arts Center Concert Hall. Please click on the links at the left to explore these holdings, and more!

Resource Center study scores, recordings and reference texts in music can be searched through PRIMO.

While circulation is restricted to URI Music students and/or faculty, the public is welcome to listen and study within the Music Resource Center facility.

Directions

From the North

• Take 95S to 4S to1S.
• Continue as 138W blends into 1S.
• Turn right at top of hill onto 138W.
• Continue down hill, past start of Rt.108 on left, into Kingston.
• Take right at light (Kingston Free Library at right) onto Upper College Rd. If necessary, stop at the URI Visitors Center on the right and get a parking pass.
• Follow Upper College Rd.almost to the end.
• Take right at the Fine Arts events signboard onto Bills Rd.
• The Fine Arts Center building will be on your left, proceed to the Staff and Visitors parking lot on the left.
• Enter the Fine Arts Center at the leftmost door facing the Bills Road parking lot. Take an immediate left, past the stairs on the right, and situated across from the Music Department office, the Music Resource Center in Rm.E105, will be on your right.

From the South

• Take 95N to 138E.
• Follow 138E, cross Rt. 2, continue over bridge crossing RR tracks.
• Pass URI Athletic buildings on the left and Peckham Farm on the right, continue up hill to Kingston.
• Take left at light (Kingston Congregational Church at right) onto Upper College Rd. If necessary, stop at the URI Visitors Center on the right and get a parking pass.
• Follow Upper College Rd.almost to the end.
• Take right at the Fine Arts events signboard onto Bills Rd.
• The Fine Arts Center building will be on your left, proceed to the Staff and Visitors parking lot on the left.
