Students may work for the University of Rhode Island Department of Music in four basic areas:

Concert Production and Recording

Facilities Assistance and Security Monitoring

Music Office Assistance

and

Music Resource Assistance

There are also volunteer opportunities (such as ushering) which serve as a springboard to employment by the Music Department.

The majority of working hours take place during the Fall and Spring semesters. There are limited opportunities for work during the Winter break and Summer.
