The default listing is alphabetical by the composer’s last name.  You can re-sort the database by clicking on the headings at the top of the columns.  Empty cells show up at the top of the re-sorted list, so changing the view to reverse order might be helpful in certain instances.  This is accomplished by clicking again on the column heading.
