Announcements:

  • There are no classes this week during URI Spring Break and NO Cyber Seniors.  
  • The office will be closed on Monday, March 9, and Friday, March 13. The office will be open regular business hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 10am to 3pm.
  • Cyber Seniors will return shortly after spring break. We will keep you updated with new dates and times as soon as we can.
  • The class 20 Feet From Stardom has been canceled due to low enrollment. If you registered for this class, you will receive a credit.
  • Special Interest Groups have the option to meet if they are scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, while the office is open.

Parking Update: If you are bringing a rental car to class, you must get a visitor parking pass. Visit uri.aimsparking.com and click on the Visitors icon. If you receive a parking ticket you can log on to your account and appeal the ticket. If you have any questions, please stop in the office.

COURSE SPOTLIGHT: There’s still time to sign up for these classes and many more! 

Special Interest Groups FREE and open to all members; No registration required.

  • Aging, Living Well- meets on 3/11 at 3pm. Our topic this month will be “I want to simplify my life. Where do I begin”?  Our discussion will focus on what overwhelms us (busy schedules, clutter, to-do lists, obligations, etc.).  Come and hear stories from other OLLI members and together let’s explore best practices and ideas for simplifying our lives.  A suggested book list will be provided, and we will watch a short video clip.
