Thomas Barkman received his Master’s in English from the University of Rhode Island in 2013, focusing on poetics and Romantic aesthetics. Since then he has coordinated the Ocean State Summer Writing Conference and worked on political campaigns. He volunteers as a poetry mentor annually in Pawtucket, he is part of the Vernal Arts and Music Festival, and has a chapbook, “Censure.”
