Jason Shrontz
Jason Shrontz is entering his fifth year in URI’s PhD program in English, and he has earned an MFA from Northern Michigan University (fiction). His research interests include the coupling of old and new media, particularly through a study of the contemporary print novel within the new media ecology, characterized by social media and touchscreens. He lives in Rhode Island with his wife, Stacey, and their wild children, Beatrice (4) and Harper (3). When he’s not writing, reading, or digging holes in the backyard with the kids, he’s usually lost in the woods on a ridiculously long run.
