Rachel May’s book, Quilting with a Modern Slant, was named a Best Book of 2014 by Library Journal and Amazon.com and reviewed in The LA Times, The Chicago Tribune, Publisher’s Weekly, The Providence Journal, and MarthaStewartLiving.com. A collection of fiction and sewn images, The Experiments: A Legend in Pictures & Words, was published this May by Dusie Press, and a novel, The Benedictines, is forthcoming from Braddock Avenue Books (July 2015). She earned her PhD from URI, and she’ll soon join Northern Michigan University as an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing.
