Philip Graham
Philip Graham is a fiction and nonfiction writer. His books include two story collections, The Art of the Knock and Interior Design, the novel, How to Read an Unwritten Language, two co-authored memoirs of Africa (with his wife, the anthropologist Alma Gottlieb), Parallel Worlds and Braided Worlds, and a collection of travel essays, The Moon, Come to Earth: Dispatches from Lisbon. Graham is a Professor Emeritus of the University of Illinois. Urbana-Champaign. He’s co-founder of the award-winning literary/arts journal Ninth Letter. Since 2002 he served as either the fiction editor or nonfiction editor, and he is currently the editor-at-large.
