Botanical Inquiry

Welcome to Botanical Inquiry, a web site created to help students and teachers take a closer look at the investigations conducted by scientists at the University of Rhode Island and their collaborators. The initial versions of the web site will feature the work of Dr. Alison Roberts, a Professor in the Department of Biological Science, and her research team. Dr. Roberts and her team are investigating the evolution of cellulose synthesis. To learn more, start by visiting the “Background” page. From there, we hope you will take the virtual lab tour to learn about some of the tools used by these investigators. This will be helpful to you as you explore the “Investigations” page.
