On Thursday March 24, Natasha Pinckard Dickenson (M.S. 2010) continued our Student Alum Networking Seminar Series with a talk on “A Non-Traditional Path Along the Seafloor”.  At GSO Natasha studied artificial reefs and benthic ecology while working full time. Her path to where she is now at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI was challenging and non-traditional but filled with rewarding experiences along the way. She currently is a Marine Scientist with NUWC where she supports environmental planning and biological research projects. In this seminar she discussed her academic and career path, as well as provided information for opportunities for internship and employment at NUWC and emails for people to contact.
