The NCAA has recognized the men’s and women’s cross-country teams as two of the top Division I programs academically. These awards are given each year to teams scoring in the top 10 percent in each sport. The Atlantic 10 Conference ranked fifth among all Division I conferences, with 56 teams recognized.
