We want you to feel happy, stay active, and find a healthy place where you belong. When on campus you can choose from a wide range of programs in our state-of-the-art facilities, offering everything from competitive team sports to group fitness classes to indoor pools, so you can be where you are and find your stride.
Until then, we offer summer programs designed specifically for you.

Group Exercise Classes

Build your community with classes held in-studio, on-the-quad, and via zoom! Zumba, Cycle, Yoga, F45, and MORE. The class schedule, descriptions, and registration can be found on IMLeagues.com/uri. Registration is required for all classes.

Zumba on the Quad Friday, Aug 13th @ 5:30
Capoeira on the Quad Saturday, Aug 14th @ 11am
Yoga on the Quad Sunday, Aug 15th @ 5pm.
Cycle at Anna Fascitelli – Monday, Aug 16th @ 5:30pm
Zumba on the Quad Tuesday, Aug 17th @ 5:30pm

F45 Training: Demo Classes: Help us break in our brand new F45 Studio located inside the Tootell Group Exercise Studio! The F stands for Functional Training, a mix of circuit and HIIT style workouts geared toward everyday movement. 45 is the total amount of time for sweat-dripping, heart pumping fun. There will be free pop-up classes throughout the month. Visit imleagues.com/uri to register!

Intramural Sports

  • 4v4 Indoor Volleyball & 3v3 Basketball. Games will run from 6-9pm in the Mackal Field house. Games will begin the week of 8/9. Teams will receive 3 regular-season games each. Playoffs will begin the week of 8/29.
  • 4v4 Volleyball will be an Open League. There will be an 8 Team Maximum. Game dates will be 8/10, 8/17, & 8/24. Roster max of 8 players.
  • 3v3 Basketball will be Mens/Womens/Co-ed. There will be a 24 Team Maximum. Game dates will be 8/11, 8/18, & 8/25. Roster max of 5 players.
  • Captain’s Meetings will be Monday, August 9th on Zoom. Basketball at 8pm; Volleyball at 9pm.
  • Winners get Championship Shirts.

Fresh Start: How to FloURIsh at URI
August 14th at 10am meet at Anna Fascitelli 

Transitioning from high school to college involves many challenges and opportunities. In this workshop, a nationally certified well-being coach guides you through using internal and external resources to build a foundation for a healthy and successful first year. An optional tour of Anna Fascitelli Fitness & Wellness Center is included. Registration is required on IMLeagues.com/uri
