COVID-19 Update

The URI Counseling Center cares about the mental, physical, and emotional well being of our students. As such, we have implemented the following changes. Please note that these policies are updated as things continue to unfold.

* The Counseling Center is meeting with students both virtually and in-person.

* Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to provide services to those outside the State of Rhode Island, though we are happy to provide brief consultations to those in other states.  Call us for more information.

* Pre-screening hours for new and returning clients are M-F 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.  Call us at 401-874-2288 for an appointment.

* Our staff remain available over the phone (401-874-2288), M-F, 8:30 – 4:30.
After hours support will continue to be offered by My SSP.

* Groups will be offered both virtually and in-person.

* Feel free to call us if you have any questions.

Do what you can to be gentle with yourself and others during this stressful time. We will continue to follow the CDC and State of Rhode Island guidelines to protect the health of our community members, our loved ones, and others.
