The University of Rhode Island Counseling Center provides a comprehensive training program for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in psychology, social work, mental health counseling and related disciplines. This program offers hands-on clinical experience in a university counseling setting, allowing trainees to work with students through individual therapy, group counseling, crisis intervention, and outreach initiatives.  

Both trainees and postdoctoral fellows benefit from supervision by licensed professionals, weekly case consultations, and didactic seminars that enhance their clinical knowledge and therapeutic skills.
