The Pilothouse, also known as the Bridge, is where the officers and crew navigate and keep a safe watch on the ship. The Pilothouse will always have two personnel on duty; an officer and a lookout. Endeavor uses both modern electronic navigation systems and classic paper charts to make its way around the globe. Sophisticated radio communications systems and radars keep the ship safe in the worst of conditions. Satellite internet systems keep the ship’s company connected to shore for safety, leisure, and scientific research.
