Our research interests focus on air-sea interaction processes, including ocean surface waves, near surface atmospheric turbulence, upper ocean turbulence and mixing.
We investigate how ocean and atmosphere exchange energy, momentum, heat, and gases, and how the air-sea fluxes affect the coupled atmosphere-wave-ocean dynamics, including tropical cyclones.
Our group closely collaborates with the Hurricane Modeling Group.
