Fiercely Keaney

tiki2Kathy Perry Ojeda ’81 sent this photo after seeing Paul Nonnenmacher ’80’s Keaney Blue house in the spring issue. The carved tiki “is proudly displayed on our dock here on the central east coast of Florida,” Ojeda writes. “I love Keaney Blue because it attracts great karma—and manatees.”

Kathy adds that her husband surprised her with the tiki, which was created by a tiki-hobbyist coworker at the Kennedy Space Center. “Now,” she adds, “if I could only convince those rocket scientists to launch a Keaney Blue tiki into the wild blue space!”
