Meet Sulaimaan Abdul-Mateen: economics major, member of the University of Rhode Island Class of 2016, and scholarship recipient.
Though many obstacles have come between Sulaimaan and his dream of attaining a college education, his path led him to URI and, thanks to the private scholarship support he receives from our generous donors, he is well on his way to success.
