Matt Baumann, Ph.D. 2013, whose GSO degree focused on chemical oceanography, spoke about “Private and Public Sector Perspectives” which he describes this way: “Since leaving GSO, I’ve worked in both the private and public sectors on a wide variety of projects. In this talk, I’ll highlight some of these projects, the lessons I’ve learned from them, and how, despite their differences, all are related to public environmental policy.”
