The URI Sailing team has a strong tradition of competitive excellence and a rich history of alumni that includes 26 All-Americans, several Olympians and America’s Cup Sailors. The team competes in the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) and sails out of the Robert Paul Arrigan Sailing Center located on the Salt Pond. The sailing fleet includes 18 new FJ’s, 8 420’s and multiple coach boats.
