Belonging Inclusion and Wellness Coalition
Mission
We aim to cultivate an inclusive, motivating, and supportive academic community where all students, faculty, and staff feel a sense of belonging. We are committed to promoting wellness and fostering an open exchange of ideas and knowledge preparing students for lifelong learning, growth, collaboration, and contribution. Through education, advocacy, and engagement, we strive to create an environment that empowers individuals to thrive personally and contribute to their communities, professions, and society.
At the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy, we believe that inclusive excellence enhances our community, creating successful scientists and caring and effective clinicians. We are committed to a learning environment that is reflective of the varied background of our students, faculty and staff. Ours is a setting that fosters professionalism, integrity, empathy and respect, creating an environment for all to listen, learn, and grow as we co-create our shared vision of “excellence through leadership”.
