Apple fungicides for summer disease management

Hi Fruit Growers,
I’ll make no comment about the depressing weather. Trees do look happy, though.
At last week’s Twilight Meeting at Tougas Family Farm the general consensus was it’s been a pretty easy thinning season and the crop looks good. Do you agree? I’ve heard from one grower who thinks his McIntosh thinned a little too well, but other varieties thinned nicely.
With all this wet weather don’t stretch your fungicides sprays beyond 2 weeks. Once we settle into normal summer weather the fungicide interval can be stretched to 3 weeks. At the twilight meeting, Dan Cooley from UMass shared a great handout summarizing summer fungicides.
