
Applicant Checklist
Hello and welcome to the University of Rhode Island’s (URI) Graduate School application checklist! Starting with Spring 2026 start term, we have a new application for URI’s graduate programs and certificates, including the ones offered through the accelerated online calendar and the accelerated bachelor’s to master’s programs for current URI undergraduate students (ABM).
The applications for our Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT), Speech Language Pathology MS, and Dietetics/Future Education Model MS graduate programs can be found in their respective Centralized Application System CAS’s (see table below for respective link).
Ready To Apply? Follow These Steps To Start Your URI Graduate Application
- Start your application
- Select URI Grad Application link to create an account or sign in with your existing credentials.
- New users will receive a temporary PIN by email to activate their account.
- Select URI Grad Application link to create an account or sign in with your existing credentials.
- Select your start term and program
- Choose the application start term based on the Academic Calendar (or ABM/Dual designation) shown for your program:
- Rolling – ABM/Dual (Current URI Undergrad)
- Accelerated Online (7-Week calendar)
- Traditional In-person/Hybrid (14-Week calendar)
- Traditional Online (14-Week calendar)
- Then select your graduate program.
- Don’t see your program? It may not be offered for your selected start term, or the application deadline may have passed.
- Choose the application start term based on the Academic Calendar (or ABM/Dual designation) shown for your program:
- Review program requirements
- After selecting your program, review the Program Information section in the left navigation menu for application requirements and program-specific instructions.
- Complete your application
- Work through each section using the left navigation menu. You can move between sections and complete the application at your own pace.
- Save and submit
- Your progress is automatically saved. Return to your application anytime before the deadline to complete your application.
- Applications are not reviewed until all required materials and the application fee are submitted.
